Great apartment in LES!

Pros:
Windows are large, kitchen and bathroom are updated and good quality.
Cons:
Outside construction on the school is a bit annoying.
Advice to owner:
Sad that the building got tagged.

Great building, lots of maintenance issues

Pros:
Location, gut renovated apartments and building, responsive property manager, great AC and heat, nice kitchen, tall ceilings.
Cons:
I’ve had a litany of ongoing issues since moving in. The apartment was not move-in ready upon me taking possession - moldy washer, highly scuffed walls, dirty toilet, broken deadbolt on apartment door, one AC unit not working.

We’ve also had bad water damage in some of the apartments twice, and despite property management cleaning the washer it’s still moldy and hasn’t been used. It will be replaced. Have also had ongoing issues with the deadbolt not working on the apartment door.

Property management is responsive, but would caution future renters here to be prepared for issues. They did give me a 25% rent reduction one month which was appreciated, but likely will not renew the lease when it’s due.
