Standard Operating Procedures

In accordance with New York State law, Openigloo (a licensed real estate brokerage, DBA of Openigloo NY LLC) is required to publish and maintain standardized operating procedures for prospective renters. The following procedures are applied consistently:

• Identification Required to Work with an Agent: Not required to inquire or view listings.
  We may request identification later in the process for verification or application purposes.
• Exclusive Broker Agreement Required: Not required.
  Openigloo does not require renters to sign an exclusive broker agreement to view or apply for properties.
• Pre-Approval or Proof of Income/Funds Required: Not required to view listings.
  These documents may be requested by Openigloo or the landlord as part of the application or lease approval process.

These procedures apply to all rental listings shown by Openigloo or its affiliated licensed agents.
