Poor Management, Nice apt
Former Tenant
Pros:
Somewhat renovated apartment that was spacious. New kitchen, bathrooms were a tad older but overall nicely redone and very spacious 3 bed with closets in every room, very tall ceilings, 2 full bathrooms, dishwasher, and private roof. Another great pro if the apartment has Carson mobile doorman which is great for walk ups as you can use an app to buzz ppl in and watch live video footage of door to ensure you’re letting in the right person
Cons:
Management was very slow and not fully helpful. The hallway and roof flooded during rainstorms, which meant the carpet should have been cleaned or replaced (wasn’t). Our neighbor left her dog in her apartment for months alone, which resulted in a horrible smell and we had to call 311. However, management was helpful here. Other than that neighbor issue, we had no other issues with neighbors. The super was kind but not very responsive, as he didn’t live in the building.
Advice to owner:
1) Have apartment move in ready with paint and cleaned before renters move in. 2) Have hallways and common areas Regularly cleaned including the rug
