    Dirty and needs a little TLC

    Pros:
    Centrally located
    Good layout
    Great closet space
    Cons:
    The building is overall just dirty. The floors, walls, marble, ceilings are not cared for. The dirt is caked in and hallways have not been painted in ages. A few doors are held together with duct tape.
    Management changed a couple years ago. New management was good at first then we went without heat for months and things went downhill. Paint gets spilled in hallways with no cleanup, the garbage is constantly overflowing and brings rats. Literally the garbage flows all over the streets in piles once a week and the city citations get stuck to the door.
    Management just needs to do a little cleanup such as repair the hallways, apartment doors, ceilings. Scrub the floors. Keep up with the trash. Things that should be simple. I would like to live in a building I am proud of not that I am embarrassed of. Yes it’s nyc, it’s dirty. But I have never lived in a lance this bad.
    Advice to owner:
    Clean, paint, clean up the junk in the lobby and dirty dusty stairwells

    landlord, no heat/hot water in the entire winter, rat infestation, garbage maintenance non-existent, unhelpful super, slow responses to maintenance requests
