Large apartments, new W/D,

Pros:
-trash chute on every floor
-safe area, across street from police station. Never really see homeless etc.
-dogs allowed on case by case basis
-live in super, he's a nice guy but also kinda rude sometimes.
-locked package room
-roof deck
-they let you drill holes in the walls, as long as you patch up

Cons:
-pricey washers/dryers, something like 6 or 7 dollars a load.
-seen roaches on first floor and basement
-they ask for a TON of paperwork when you're applying. asked for my 401k statements too.
-some units are renovated with new appliances and bathroom sink/counters

Nice Location, Good Apartment

Pros:
- Convenient area with lots of train options
- There are two elevators in a seven story building so you don't have to wait for the elevator for too long
- New washer and dryer
- Fairly quiet considering the location

Cons:
- View is blocked by the building in front of it
- Sometimes the lobby smells like cigarette
- Saw a cockroach once in the hallway but never inside the apartment
- The front door is impossible to open with one hand. You have to twist the key and the door knob at the same time so you need two hands.
