When they got bought out by a new management company they let me terminate my lease early
Cons:
Found a rat inside my apartment. Many cockroaches. To be fair, I was the basement studio. There were rats outside my window in one of those black boxes and they let the carcasses decompose instead of removing them, so there were flies all around the exterior. The garbage was not taken out frequently enough. Oh, and its literally right next to a bar. I could hear every word of the music playing til late at night, plus drunk peoples personal conversations or fights right outside.
Advice to owner:
Don't rent out the basement unit! It's not suitable to live in.
