There was a Trader Joe’s and TJ Maxx across the street. That’s it. Everything else was disgusting and unsafe.
Cons:
- Mice infestation which owner refused to find a solution for other than mice traps. I fell asleep to the sound of mice squeaking every night. Couldn’t even cook because they lived in the stoves and would poop in our kitchenware. - Roaches - Got locked INSIDE our apartment because lock didn’t work and it took them a whole day to come fix the door so we can get out. - Window frame popped out. - Black gunk coming out of sink. - Toilet flooding out of nowhere - Black water dripping from ceiling everytime it rained even though we lived on the bottom floors - Owner lying he’s a lawyer to intimidate us even though he’s not - Black gunk on floor that wouldn’t come out no matter what. - Uneven heat distribution. One room would feel like an oven and the other would be freezing cold. - Walls are detached from floor. Big gap for mice and roaches to come in. - Refused to give us the second set of keys for A WHOLE MONTH. - Floor are uneven.
Advice to owner:
Get rid of the whole building. It’s a health and safety hazard. And don’t be a landlord if you refuse to take care of major issues. If the Department of Health & Safety constantly do checks on your tenants, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.

The apartment sucks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing- couldn’t say one thing nice maybe one room was decent size but felt like you were outside
Cons:
First it is a health hazard- rat ingestion, Window not secure, brown water dropping when raining but we weren’t even on the top floor, cockroach infestation, toilet starting flooding, black things coming out of the sink, mice running around in the stove and oven, walls are not attached to the floors
Advice to owner:
Do better and listen- maybe knock the building down
