was surprised to see the other review about hearing neighbors through the walls. You can hear neighbors if they are in the stairwell, but in my unit I cannot hear anyone through the walls into other units. I appreciate how sound proof it is. I think the housing is affordable for the space you are getting. I like the location. Neighbors are nice but keep to themselves.
Cons:
The super is nice but extremely talkative (will trap you in one-sided conversations). You can only call the super, there is no email or texting. You cannot control the heat and it is super variable. I agree that the stairwell/hallways are not well maintained or clean. I have had a package stolen. There was a small mouse in my apartment once but I caught it and I have not seen any other trace of rodents here. No other bugs or critters.

Super messes with the heat all the time so it gets really loud when it’s turned on, hallways are gross and dirty, u can hear neighbor through the walls easily
