    No Frills Studio

    Pros:
    Good starter apartment before the problems started
    Cons:
    Couldn't rely on super or landlord to provide services and upkeep the building. My oven never worked. Mini, college sized fridge. Old, outdated studio and building. The boiler broke causing a gas leak which could've been disasterous if not for concerned citizen on the sidewalk that called 911 due to the gas smell. Super wasn't around to let firefighers into the boiler room. There was no hot water for 2 weeks. Then no gas for 8 months.
    Advice to owner:
    Be more attentative to your tenants safety and building.

    Large windows/spacious studios
    Cons:
    The super, the conditions of the building/stairwell/apartments - very old, dirty and outdated

    Update the building & flexible lease terms
