Overall great with a couple drawbacks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean for the most part, updated, well heated in winter but ac unit are a bit old and loud. Charming apartment design and tall ceilings and recessed lighting. Big windows and fairly good light, Responsive and friendly maintenance team, attentive customer service via phone, phone app for payment and filing requests for issues/lockout. Digital doorman works and convenient with camera, and lobby is usually organized and clean with minimal package clutter.
Cons:
Door key-fobs are spotty and sometimes don’t work. Ive occasionally seen a roach or two in my apartment but nothing crazy and rarely has happened for 3+ years (I'm pretty clean). AC is a bit old and loud but works. Some hallways smell a bit off sometimes but no weed smell. Brown water sometimes and apartment is a bit expensive for size but that comes with territory of living in this area.
Advice to owner:
Nothing really. Make some updates to appliances/ac.

decent but it’s too expensive
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Easy to pay rent and submit maintenance requests
- Maintenance requests are handled promptly
- Responsive owner
- Common areas are kept pretty clean
- In unit washer/dryer (it gets the job done)
- Nice water pressure
Cons:
- Very expensive rent for really small apartments. There’s barely any storage space. Tiniest bathroom & kitchen.
- Every apartment entrance door has a gap on the bottom. If one unit gets roach infested it will likely to spread to every unit on the same floor.
- Charges a pet fee
- Packages went missing a few times
- The building is right by a bar. Depends on which direction the unit’s facing it might get loud at nights, etc.
- Frequently had brown water issue
- If there’s a construction work you are notified on the day of the construction
- Could hear neighbors too well
