Update: New Landlord

Pros:
washer/ dryer in basement
Cons:
The archdiocese of Bulgaria has become the new landlord and they've hiked up rent 30% since 2020 even though they're a non profit that gets tax benefits.
Advice to owner:
don't be so cheap

Pros:
Quiet street, solid super, responsive land lords for the most part, location is great. couple of noisy neighbors but nothing intolerable. small building, laundry (but machines are old/coin opp)
Cons:
Have dealt with roaches and mice on 2-3 occasions.They kept coming out until it was taken care of. Doesnt seem to be a consistent pest control plan.
Not rent controlled even though it qualifies. no electronic payment, not a lot of natural light. in the back of the building.
very drafty when cold, have to put plastic up.
