    Career Landlord & Ghost (ft. Roaches)

    Pros:
    Mostly untouched classic brownstone. Great neighborhood. Right next to the train.
    Cons:
    SO MANY ROACHES. The landlord hires her cousins and friends to do half-ass small “repairs” but only after you call 311. She does AirBnB upstairs and the tenants leave the doors open and are super noisy. The house isn’t at all weatherized and the windows shake with the wind in the winter, so prepare to freeze your ass off! The electricity is ancient, so don’t make the mistake of having more than one light on! Again…so many roaches, centipedes, fire bugs, anything you can think of. Her cousin the alleged exterminator has sprayed…maybe twice.
    Advice to owner:
    Maintain your property! Either you want to be a landlord or you don’t…and being a landlord doesn’t just mean collecting rent.
