We love our apartment. Building is in a great location, so many good restaurants and bars around. Young, fun area. I believe Noodle the Pug lives nearby, if you are into Instagram Pug celebrities! Our elevator is fast and almost always working! Not too crowded either. We have washer and dryer in unit so I don’t know what the laundromat situation is like, but it’s a great place.
Cons:
Super and management will ghost us sometimes. No super on premises (although we were told there was). Building is not always very clean, but usually gets resolved within a few days. Stoop is a popular gathering spot, lots of pot smoking—but I have never felt unsafe. So kind of a wash in that regard. Sometimes the noise from Harlem Public or the general intersection of 149 and Bway is loud. The building has been rent-destabilized sadly
Advice to owner:
hank you for keeping our place generally safe and clean! Responsiveness and communication could improve. But overall not much to complain about. Please don’t raise our rents too much! We love it here and will take good care.
