The building is in horrible condition and the landlord does nothing to fix it. Leaks every few months; the elevator hasn’t worked in almost a year; mice and roaches; they turned the water off for almost a week with no explanation. Tenants have been on a rent strike because the conditions are so bad.

Pros:
Good pre war building, thick walls, good water pressure, good location
Cons:
Never expect anything to be fixed, elevator doesn’t work, laundry is always breaking, no upkeep to the apartments even if you have lived in them a long time. No responsiveness about pest control or repairs. Constant flooding from over worked pipes.
