Solid pre-war apartment
Pros
On-site Super and his family is kind and helpful. Spacious apartments with hardwood floor, eat in kitchen, sunk-in living room, all the pre-war charm. Landlord is not fussy and lease renewal process has always been smooth and on time.
Cons
Occasionally there could be mini roaches but they do send exterminators if need. bathroom and kitchen can use a bit more update/renovation.

Pros
Really nice and reachable super.
Cons
Elevators are old and in need of replacement. Sloooow. Owner stingy on maintenance and required internal paint jobs. Kitchens and bathrooms not adequately maintained, patched up until you move out and the price can be jacked up.
Advice to the owners
Better care for the apartments. Regular maintenance and servicing will lower costs in the long run.
