    Lots of potential but the building is cheap

    Pros:
    Location is great, apartments are spacious, doormen are friendly and know each tenant
    Cons:
    The craftsmanship is horrible... everything in the apartment was very shoddily done (uneven walls, cabinets not adhered properly, sinks and toilets not caulked properly, etc.). Very difficult to contact building management which seems purposeful (who still uses fax machines and doesn't have an email address in 2024?)

    Hire better contractors

    Pros:
    Building staff (with the exception of John)
    Cons:
    Will under no circumstance turn AC on prior to Memorial Day. Even if it is 90+ degrees, so can be unlivable conditions.
    Advice to owner:
    Be more responsive to tenants needs and requests.
