I also had trouble with rude door staff, not helped by tipping at the holidays. I would be super weary of these equity managed buildings. I moved to another Equity location and they don’t stop jacking the rent up on me and everyone else. 46% last year and now they want another 9%. They’re happy to turn and burn renters to maximize profits. Having good tenants means nothing to them. They run these market profiles and decide that’s what your place is worth on the date they have in front of them. Pay early, pay late, be clean, be dirty, just pay every cent you have to spend, that is all they care about.
