The building is nice, clean, and doormen are phenomenal.
Not many people live there full time making it hard to get to know you neighbors. Location isn’t great being on Braodway.

Average violations per unit in this building is better than the city average.
Rodents, pest, mold, inadequate heat or hot water, defective building parts
Smoke detector issues, inadequate lighting, no lighting for stairways
No peephole on a door, no street number on the building, unlawful keeping of animals
Missing or non-compliant with administrative information orders or filings
The water issue... is this across all apartments? What's in the water?

All the tenants I spoke to complained about the same thing. Lately we can notice a real change as it's making skin super dry When we reported the issue the super stated we just have to let it run until it clears 🙄 based on my plumber the pipes might be so rusty it contaminates the water with rust. The only way to know is to get the water analyzed by a lab. I am personally looking for another apt. The rent is just disproportinal to what you get. Also lots of airbnbs in the building. Feels like a hotel, always people with suitcases. Anyway
