Great apartment but be wary of extra costs and an unresponsive landlord
Pros
The apartment is great, massive outdoor space and the super is fantastic. In the heart of Harlem.
Cons
We were not made aware and lied to about the cost of electricity due to the inefficient AC/heating units. We ended up paying an extra $300-600 a month during the months the units were in use!! The landlord is not particularly responsive, lacking communication skills and unwilling to settle and kept changing her mind at her convenience about the conditions to renew the lease.
Advice to the owners
Learn to communicate and recognize when you have good tenants
