Great building, not-so-great location

Pros:
Well-maintained building with good amenities and nice staff. Has a mail room which makes it easy to receive packages. Washer/dryer in-unit, fridge with ice maker, sink with garbage disposal
Cons:
Neighborhood was the only downside to living in this building. Lots of homeless people around, lots of harassment, didn’t feel safe, area also smells bad and had a lot of garbage on the sidewalk.

Pros:
The staff (doormen, package room, security, leasing agents, maintenance, etc.) are all extremely friendly and take their jobs very seriously! I have always felt very safe, which is great because the midtown location means there are a lot of people around outside. The amenities are great as well! The walls are also super thick, so I have never heard my neighbors and they have never heard me.
Cons:
There isn't much to complain about, but sometimes the amenities (gym and pool usually) are closed without notice, but it doesn't happen often.
