Great building staff, friendly neighbors, finishes in the newer apartments are nice
Cons:
Problem neighbors are often longtime tenants which means if you have an issue with a neighbor doing something that disrupts your quality of life (ie causing mold or encouraging pest infestations), you’re the one who has to suffer or go. Issues with mold and roaches abound. Charge for the crappy basement gym is unreasonable for what you get.

It's All A Façade
Former Tenant
Pros:
The staff - specifically the staff at the front desk during the day, and the maintenance staff - are extremely friendly. The building is located near many amenities, and of course - the main attraction - Central Park. Quiet neighborhood, pet friendly, and good transit options nearby. There is also a package room which is very convenient and has friendly staff. Laundry room is decent too.
Cons:
While the interior in newer units may seem nice, they are quite cheaply made and do not last very long. Improper installations, heat from radiators at boiling temperatures, pests (including mice and roaches) run amuck in the apartments, garbage chutes constantly filthy (even with signs begging tenants to be more careful,) noisy neighbors (younger and younger tenants being allowed to rent and party all night long,) and worst of all... management. If you need anything besides some minor repairs, good luck! They do not care about you one bit. They lie constantly and will ignore you whenever they feel like it. And the rent is way too high in price for the quality and services you get in this "luxury building.) Tenants have protested the rise in costs and the lack of communication and insane rent increases. Not to mention the constant construction! And while the staff at front desk during the day is WONDERFUL, the night staff could not care less. Sometimes they're even sleeping! They don't check to see who's coming upstairs unless it's delivery. You can walk in without speaking to anyone and go straight upstairs... strangers getting past security 24/7!
Advice to owner:
Start communicating with your tenants, crack down on rules and noisy tenants, and stop raising the rent! You're driving away people for a reason...
