The apartments are too small for what you will pay here. “3 bedrooms” the size of closets. No room for furniture except bed.
This is not a real door man! No true security. Door lock has been broken multiple times. “Locked” mail room broken multiple times. Have had mail stolen before. Not exactly Fort Knox.
In time living here cops have shown up once a week including EMS coroner fire department and even detectives! It’s not safe here.
Smells like weed or vape smoke everywhere you go.
Balcony views are ok and nothing to write home about.
Advice to owner:
Lower rent, it is too high for the lack of safety!

Nice new building, great super
Former Tenant
Pros:
Tito, the super, is AWESOME— friendly, hardworking, and always on top of any building concerns. Convenient garbage chute is on each floor, locked package room, nice basic gym amenities (treadmills, stationary bike, weights, etc), street parking is decent for Manhattan (alternate side parking is in effect, so be sure to keep an eye out for times). Noise doesn’t travel very much between apartments, and most neighbors are friendly/quiet. The building is pet friendly, and the dogs I’ve met in common spaces are pretty well-behaved.
Cons:
For a new building (opened ~Dec 2021/Jan 2022), there were a surprising amount of ongoing repairs. The elevator glitches and needs repair more often than you’d expect for a new building (every couple months during our lease, sometimes being out of commission for a few days). Similarly, there were some ongoing issues with using the fob or phone app to open the lobby entrance door. Luckily, management was quick to send notice via email when these maintenance issues came up. Considering this is a new building, though, these problems were surprising.
