Wonderful experience - first NYC apartment

Pros

Wonderful super, neighbors, management, location.. a safe and clean building. I heard so many horror stories while looking for my first NYC apartment, but none of this was true for me at 200 Allen.

Cons

The radiators are too hot and come on automatically. You can’t turn them down only off. Not being in control of the temperature can be uncomfortable
