Pros:
Cheaper rent, steps away from the train
Cons:
Lopsided building=multiple cracks in the walls. Whole building is disgusting with spider webs still hanging in the staircases. The staircases are creaky and feel as if you will slip. Super/owner refused to control pest issues inside the building and the apartment, wouldn’t fix the apt door issues, etc. Felt like living in a third world or 19th century tenement building.
Advice to owner:
Reinvest in ensuring building is safe and actually do much needed simple upgrades.
