Worst living experience
Pros
Nothing appealing about this building.
Cons
First, the landlord ask inappropriate questions regarding if you have a boyfriend, or a father of your children before moving in. As a single woman, this can be very intimidating being that they are trying to make sure that you have no help or person around. The superintendent never answers any phone calls or text messages regarding any repairs and neither does the landlord. There is a terrible infestation of roaches and mice. And you will have to spend money out of your pocket to take care of those problems, because no extermination is done or inspections. There is mold, peeling paint, cracked ceilings, broken floor tiles all over the apartment, waiting for months of repair and nobody comes to repair them. When they are repaired, they are just patched over, but not repaired. This building is ground for drug sales and is constantly broken into where people sit and smoke in the lobby, and even homeless people have slept in the lobby area. When you walk up the stairs in this walk up building the rails of the staircase, have missing bars and are also loose. Having children living in these apartments or even yourself, you have safety risk of your health. There is constant noise or music, being blasted by the neighbors at all hours of the night. The landlord has no respect towards women and will harass you about rent, even when it is paid.
