Decent first apartment, not great overall

Pros

Good reliable neighbors. They watched and fed my foster cat while I went on vacation. Nice views of Arthur Ave

Cons

Living near Fordham Rd it’s going to be very noisy. Take precautions. Landlord is unresponsive and the super takes forever to fix things. I let them know about my leaky shower, they said they’d send a plumber and didn’t do anything till I moved out. Then they took it off my security deposit.

Advice to the owners

Please be more responsive to tenants and keep a record of their issues. That way you don’t have to put the burden on them when they move.
