Working Class Community, Great Neighbors

Pros

3 elevators, part time security/doorman, all of the employees are responsible and professional. Building is cleaned and maintained regularly. Outdoor parking for a decent rate. Plenty of local parking around the block. Pet friendly.

Cons

The basement laundromat driers aren’t working and haven’t for at least two years. My floors are uneven in my apartment. Several leaks, minor but still. They won’t change or update anything unless it’s completely falling apart and doesn’t work. Things that aren’t to par before you move in will not be fixed if you do move in before it’s corrected. I get great heat but I hear the other half of the building does not. Not sure how true that is. My floors have been replaced in certain sections due to water damage, yet they do t match in color to the original sections, aren’t waxed either. They do their best to fix and replace things with the cheapest option possible which usually translates to low quality.

Advice to the owners

You take care of your building here but you should not be so cheap about replacing and fixing things. Fix the driers.
