Landlords, Luis and Manuela, approved my application for an apartment and then withdrew it at the last minute after asking if a $50 regulator could be put on a radiator—saying my request was a red flag.
I followed up a couple weeks later for the same apartment—got approved again—and then had the approval get withdraw hours before lease signing.

Advice to owner:
Deal in good faith with potential tenants—if you approve somebody don’t change your mind last minute (twice!)
