Pros:
Charming brownstone in Carroll Gardens - the pros belong to the area, not the poorly maintained building or spineless property owner
Cons:
Poorly managed by a slimy little man who takes advantage of tenants and contractors We’re still waiting to receive reimbursement for our deposit that was granted to us by New York’s small claims court I would highly recommend renting from someone else. The other review mentioning a leaky roof and water damage in the top floor, that was us!

Don’t trust this landlord

Pros:
It’s in a nice neighborhood.
Cons:
We sued the landlord in small claims court for return of our security deposit which he illegally retained. We won a judgment obligating him to return the deposit but as of the date of writing this review he has not paid us. The landlord was generally unresponsive while we lived in the apartment. Avoid this apartment unless you want to deal with a shitty landlord.
Advice to owner:
Be a better human being.
