Pros:
Carroll Gardens is kind of cool, but the block the building is on is pretty garbage compared to the rest of the neighborhood
Cons:
Extremely thin walls can hear my neighbors talk, the building is in disrepair (over 700 HPD violations), the owners (a divorcing couple) are fighting over the building and are extremely rude bullies, who harass their tenants
Advice to owner:
Be nicer and stop threatening eviction over your incompetence to fix the building

Pros:
None! This is a hopeless case and a $@&* hole.
Cons:
It’s Carroll Garden’s meeting place for roaches, rats and mice. Ms. Chanmattie Persaud refuses to make repairs and treats tenants in an awful way. She is being sued by HPD for non compliance. There are hundreds of violations. The owner is incredibly incompetent! It is almost criminal how she and her husband have been getting away with this!
Advice to owner:
Repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair, repair.....
