Pros:
Landlord very responsive via text and comes in-person to address various issues/ introduced himself after we moved in, neighbors are friendly, very walkable, pests are infrequent/managed, trash managed twice/week by off-site super, pet friendly
Cons:
A lot of litter on the street and slow to clean front, ground floor and entry are not kept clean, Destination Real Estate manages the building- most responsive to late rent and lease renewals- otherwise not friendly or particularly helpful, proximity to loud industrial sounds and pollution, super smokes cigarettes in the building when he’s cleaning, most noise comes from street level/environment (loud pedestrians, bus route, emergency vehicles, construction vehicles, outer door slamming, thin walls, elevated train, air traffic, background BQE road sounds) but also very loud clanking noise from heat pipes during cold months
Advice to owner:
Increase building cleanliness, increase follow up regarding certain requests
