The building has a dedicated cleaning staff that are in at least weekly and are really friendly. Packages are rarely stolen, and the laundry machines typically work well.
Cons:
Management is greedy, does not care about their tenants, and is extremely inconsistent in their response. Our rent went up 25% during record inflation in NYC despite multiple gas leaks over the year we lived there, fobs that were defective for months (with no prior communication from management, and slow and inefficient response from management). There was also an undisclosed gas problem that only came to our attention from other tenants after a major gas leak. Management fixed our stove, which had been incorrectly installed and could leak, but never acknowledged the gas leaks in the building nor did they inform us this was an ongoing issue when we were in the process of applying.
For truly urgent requests, like the giant leak that formed the day after we moved in, they usually respond quickly.
Advice to owner:
Fix all the stoves, eliminate the problem with gas leaks, and charge a reasonable rent - this unit was not worth the rent increase.
