Overall good bang for your buck in this sought-after area

Pros

The main areas are cleaned regularly. The apartments have high ceilings and tall windows in each bedroom. The area is beautiful and by far the best part about this building. The park is so nearby along with the subway station. The commute to lower Manhattan is 30 min or less.

Cons

The stairs seem very old and should be replaced. Had a roach problem, which was attempted to be taken care of immediately but they came back. We also had one mice enter our unit through a hole in the wall. We reported it and they came immediately to resolve the issue. The trash is kept inside the building. The kitchens are very small and there are no built-in closets in the rooms.

Advice to the owners

I would advise to redo/renovate the stairs if possible.
