    Great neighbors! Wish I had a stabilized unit.

    Pros:
    Great building tenants. Stabilized tenants are super long term tenants and great neighbors. Market rate tenants are nice, but change more often.
    Cons:
    Asked to switch to a vacated rent stabilized unit and that was a hard no, bc they plan to reno it (and ruin its great looks imo. Also, after 4.5 years, they decided not to renew my lease. No reason, they just said they didn’t want to renew.
    Advice to owner:
    Sell buildings to tenants! Allow them to become HDfC bldgs!
