Beautiful brownstone. Amazing size and location for the price, landlords are a couple that live in the next door building and were responsive and courteous and just kind people. They are chill about sublets and accommodating and understanding during covid. Well maintained building. About as good as it gets in nyc.
Cons:
Only con: noise between rooms. It is railroad style and a couple of the rooms have doors or windows between them. Noise control between those rooms is awful, I could hear every single thing the person in the room next to me did, we had a window and door in our shared wall and the noise seriously impacted my life and sleep and I spent a lot of money trying to find noise proofing solutions that wouldn’t jeopardize my deposit because of glue or nails
Advice to owner:
I had a great time renting from you, thank you for being the best of nyc! Perhaps consider sound proofing options if renting separately the rooms with windows or doors between shared walls
