    Great deal, but you get what you pay for

    Pros:
    Affordable rental (sublet) in prime central slope. The area is what kept me here. Quaint rooftop area, perfect for yoga or setting up a projector. On top of a laundromat.
    Cons:
    You get what you pay for. Was this place great? No. Was it worth putting up with? Maybe. Lots of pest problems. Mice and the occasional water bug. The heat situation is awful. This place is a code nightmare. The heat went down 6 times one winter. The landlord was very quick to fix, but it happened so often that it did amount to a lot of time without heat, even when fixed the same or next day.
    Advice to owner:
    Get the lest situation and heat under control. It’s great to have affordable options and no one is expecting luxury at this price. The pest stuff is what really crossed the line for me.
