Beautiful old brownstone and lovely neighbors. Stairwell is mopped every Friday and trash is taken out on time.
Cons:
Worst landlords I’ve ever had. Not responsive - sometimes I have to ask a question 3 or 4 times in email to get a response. My apartment was filthy when I moved in (grime on the bathroom floor, hair in the drain, huge dust chunks behind the radiators, grease covering the stove vent, dirty fridge…). It CLEARLY had not been cleaned since the last tenant moved out, and when I complained, sent photos, and asked if they could send someone they claimed someone had already been there “twice” and did absolutely nothing.
When I have an issue sometimes workers will show up knocking on my door unannounced without them letting me know ahead of time.
Heron in particular is rude and clearly noncaring. If you don’t have any issues it’s ok, but I don’t trust them to do things properly when you do.
Advice to owner:
Get a new management company
