Clean, Well Maintained Building in a Lovely Neighborhood

Pros:
Very clean and well maintained. Rarely had to ask management to fix a problem. No pests; only ones were one-offs that came through window. The building was quiet and all the neighbors are friendly and courteous. Garbage management is well done and have introduced composting bins, which is a big plus.
Cons:
Walls between apartments are very thin. You can hear everything. Heat only turns on when it gets below a certain temperature or gets to a certain time of year. When off, apartment can be very cold.
Advice to owner:
A more flexible heating range would be nice, but other than that, building is great.

Pros:
Building management is responsive. We have a small yard on the first floor back units. Half a block to the train. Open space in the main living area. Kitchen and living room are one room. Bedroom is large enough for a Queen.
Cons:
Noise is bad. You can hear everything through the walls. Floor shakes when neighbors walk heavy. Not a lot of storage space.
Advice to owner:
Replace foundation and support beams. Get better noise insulation.
