Bathroom ceiling collapsed, landlord refused to send anyone to repair it. Also the building has bed bugs.

The walk to the train was short, and the neighborhood was cute with lots of restaurants and cafes.

Cons

Owned by a textbook slumlord. Bedbugs. Mold. Constantly needed repairs. Constant violations. No hot water for over a month. Plaster falling off the walls. Countertops made of chip board and contact paper. Roaches in the hall. Stoop covered in bird poop constantly. Avoid at all costs, don’t make the mistakes I made.

Sell your buildings to someone who is actually willing to do any level of maintenance and retire to Florida.
