Lived here for three years with roommates. During our residency, management was more or less faceless but attentive to repairs and pests. Experienced a terrible mouse infestation at two points, though were able to take care of it over time. Much appreciation to the POC who have been living in the building before the gentrification of Crown Heights took full speed—less so to the gentrifiers who keep to themselves and don't harbor any sense of community.

Management is faceless and will only care to help you if you pay them rent.

HUGE beware regarding the return of your security deposit once you've moved out. We're still in the process of demanding ours and have submitted a complaint with the AGs office. We anticipate taking them to small claims court as they have decided to cease responding to us. Looking at you, Jessica M at L Rose Realty—you directly could not care less about us as previous tenants who treated the apartment with great care. Rather, you'd prefer to be cold and rude when responding, or otherwise ignore us completely. Good luck to you, because you're going to need it.

Gentrifying neighbors, for the most part, are not welcoming nor do they provide a sense of community within the neighborhood—they keep to themselves and their pets.

Return your previous tenants security deposit within the legally required timeframe as per NYC law, and treat your previous tenants like human beings even though they are no longer paying you for rent. Don't do it and you're going to be brought to small claims court time and time again—having to pay even more to your previous tenants for the damages incurred in your inconsiderate, selfish negligence. Despicable treatment.
