Landlord bumped rent by 35% despite doing illegal construction on the building and harassing tenant when they file a complaint. Landlord also tried to refuse security deposit despite no damages and cleaned out. I had to file a complaint in order to get my deposit back
Advice to the owners
Learn to keep good tenants that pay their rent on time even during a global pandemic instead of increasing their rent and harassing them when an illegal contractor falls through their bathroom ceiling.
