    Avoid at all costs

    Pros:
    The garden is charming (but you will not be allowed to use it comfortably without being constantly reprimanded).
    Cons:
    Of the 12 years I’ve lived in NYC, this was by far my worst living experience. The apt is fine (although there were problems with roaches and not a full kitchen). The real issue was the treatment from the landlords. From the first day I was constantly and continuously harassed. What started as incessant texts, calls and unexpected visits, escalated to being shouted at in the street and having literal dog poop thrown at my front door.

    I’ve never been treated with such intentional disrespect and malice in my whole life.

    Don’t fall for the cute garden like I did - avoid this apartment!
    Advice to owner:
    This is not a suitable rental as long as the current upstairs tenant lives in this home.
