It's very large, and units have a lot of natural light typically due to large windows.
Cons:
Also due to large windows, it gets extremely hot and cold, and since the unit is so large, it is enormously expensive to control the temperature.
The gas was also shut off for a long time, and it was extremely hard to live there. I think they added electric heaters of some kind later on, but I moved out so I don't know.
Advice to owner:
Don't rent to market-rate tenants without letting them know you are still under loft law

Noisest street in Brooklyn?
Former Tenant
Pros:
No bugs, generally clean common areas.
Cons:
Most importantly - heat has been out for over a year & tenants are in litigation. Old very drafty windows, bare minimum spent on any appliance/counter etc - the absolute cheapest materials. Super needs 3 or more reminders to fix something really really flaky.
Advice to owner:
fugetaboutit you jerk.
