The location and neighbors are lovely. The three-directional light and surrounding trees are especially nice and unusual for Brooklyn.
Cons:
The landlords are incapable of basic adult communication. They were constantly verbally abusive (screaming and shouting and cursing over the phone in response to simple questions like "what time do I need to be home tomorrow to let your guy in?"). They refused to read or respond to very basic written communication, insisting that all communication be verbal over the phone, but then would not listen or address things in conversation. Of course, they blamed all miscommunication on the tenant.
The final straw was when they had someone come by at 7:00 AM to replace a broken fridge—on twenty minutes' notice. The new fridge was a half-size, despite the old one being a full-size, and the groceries I had to frantically rush to get out as they threatened to "leave the new fridge in the street" didn't even all fit back inside the new one.
Advice to owner:
