Lived here for a year. Had a huge mouse problem and building owners did not fix this issue as well as other issues we encountered in the apartment the entire time we were there.
Advice to owner:
Be respectful and mindful about people who are renting to you. Make it a comfortable living situation and not some ploy for money.

Pros:
Fire Escape Exposed Brick Close to lots of good food
Cons:
Huge roaches AND mice. Our stove had mice living inside of it for a year, to the management’s knowledge. When multiple work orders were submitted, only 311 was able to get them to address this. Instead of replacing the stove as they said they would, landlord showed up to “clean it up” instead. Mice and roach issue was never solved.
The unit was really dirty and clearly wasn’t cleaned prior to us moving in, which they are now attempting to charge us for.
Basement often flooded and stunk with septic tank liquid which they only mopped up instead of fixing. Washer and dryer were constantly broken and swallowed our money.
Landlord is currently refusing to give our deposit back due to “financial loss” from not having new tenants lined up after only one of us was planning on renewing the lease. They are now asking us to find them new tenants if we want our deposit pack (we moved out two weeks ago.) Absolutely horrible.
Advice to owner:
Sell every property you have because you have absolutely no business managing a building anywhere. Listen to your tenants when they call you. Learn to be human beings and do your jobs instead of swindling people for money IN A PANDEMIC.
