Remodeled building with astronomical electricity charges
Former Tenant
Pros:
Remodeled, good appliances, central air and heat
Cons:
The passive electricity rate is ASTRONOMICAL. No one can explain why the electric rate is so high WHEN NO ONE IS HOME. For our 1-floor apartment, the average electricity bill per month is no less than $400. Be warned.
No repairs or updates that coincide with annual rent increase.
Advice to owner:
Check the wiring. Clean common spaces more often. Rent apartments to responsible people who respect their neighbors.
