The street is very nice, neighborly residential area
Cons:
The building has literally been under construction since before we moved in. The contractor is a meth addict from Long Island and he squats in the first floor apartment. There are no permits for the work they are doing so be prepared for loud noises, spontaneous construction (weekends and weekdays) and slimy contractors here all the time (often drinking on the job). The landlord does not respect the tenants here at all. He will not lower rent for any inconveniences or issues. Also he has cameras on the front door that have audio. He will eavesdrop on conversations regularly. Avoid this place at all costs. Seriously.
Advice to owner:
You are not above the law, no matter how much money you may make. Treat your tenants with dignity, respect and privacy. Or just stay out of the NYC rental market because you’re the worst human to interact with.
