Owner jacks up the rent
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is good.
Cons:
Owner will jack your rent up hundreds upon hundreds of dollars. Not worth it.

Would not live here again
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment had great new appliances and lots of light.

The super was also really responsive to any requests and would address issues right away.
Cons:
Noise in the building is terrible. The walls/windows are poorly insulated and do not keep out any sound. You also get noise from upstairs (just from neighbors walking). In addition the radiators are terrible in the winter. Not only are they terribly HOT (windows were open all winter) but they also made a lot of noise and sometimes would leak water. It was often hard to even hear the TV in the winter because of the rattling from the radiators.

Cockroaches! Yuck. Management did do monthly pest control but that did not stop us from seeing the occasional cockroach (I estimate one per month). I don’t why but they were HUGE ones too.

I think for the price you can find something better. If I had the choice I would not live here again. (Also when given the option to renew they said they would were going to raise the rent by $600 which I understand is the market but such poor taste when you have responsible and clean tenants).
Advice to owner:
Fix the terrible radiators and install windows that work.
