The ground floor units have been remodeled and look nice. The handy man is nice and tries his best to fix problems in a timely manner.
Cons:
The upstairs units are rent-controlled and the tenants had terrible plumbing. Everything was old and decaying. This lead to 6 leaks in my studio with in a 1 year period. This could not be fixed because one upstairs neighbor refused to let them fix her issues. One morning I woke up to a full rainstorm in my studio and had to scream for them to stop running water. The plumbing issues have since been resolved after my persistent maintenance requests, but fear that if anything were to go wrong I would go through the same horror again. Warning to any future renter that these rent-controlled tenants made living here absolute hell.
