My partner and I love the layout of the apartment. It's a 3 bed/1br. We live on the ground floor and have a massive private backyard. For a married couple the layout is wonderful.
Cons:
Horrible management. We've had issues with mold in the living room, leakage by the kitchen sink, missing floor boards by the door leading to the backyard, and packages being stolen (still being stolen despite a mere post-it note on the hall way written "BEING WATCHED BY CAMERA". There IS no camera.) Also we moved into the apartment with missing knobs on the stove. Management likes to take its sweet time fixing these issues. They were only fixed after multiple alerts to 311 and personal complaints to the landlord after 2 months. If you check out "YHT management" on YELP they have a stellar record for taking care of their units and tenants. The garbage area in front of the building is almost always disgustingly filled with trash and dirty. I was hit on the head by the front door handle while trying to leave the building because it has YET AGAIN fallen out of place. All this and they have the audacity to raise our rent by 8% when nothing has changed.
Update: We've had issues with our stove for a while now (knobs coming off, oven not being hot enough) and last week our stove broke after electrocuting my husband. He had to go to the ER for minor injuries. We told the management what had happened and they said they would come to look at it 5 days later without offering hot plates/alternative cooking method. It's been over a week and still no one has come to look or called about our broken stove and we had to buy our own hot plate. Also the building's central fire alarm has been going off every night for the past week. We've had to call the fire department multiple times to turn the fire alarm off because the landlord/management company would not pick up their phones. Last night the alarm went on the entire night (11pm~8am) until we had to call the police. Also just found out the landlord has blocked my husband's number. Just awful.
Advice to owner:
Please hire a management company that's going to take care of your property and your tenants. And please have someone come to our apartment asap. Thank you.

Pros:
Nothing generally wrong with the building itself. Gets great sunlight.
Cons:
The building is fine but the company that leases rooms/apartments within the owner of the building, sucks.
